15-02-2012 | Belarus move to energy-saving technologies

Council of Ministers approved a decree which states that in the near future Belarus will fully switch to energy-saving lamps.

There are already government standards for energy efficiency of such devices. This year we plan to replace half of the bulbs with new ones.

In the period before 2013 is planned to install automatic lighting control in multi-storey residential buildings. Under this program, Brest plant bulbs will annually produce more than 1 million. new energy-saving lamps.

Coverage of the Minsk ring road will be reduced by 20%, and this will be an automatic power control system.
