We develop a market in Russia LEDs?

Anna Tumanova: The world powers are investing billions of dollars in creating a market LED products. Thus, by stimulating domestic consumption, the governments of these countries are intensifying as the growth of investment in manufacturing companies, as well as reducing the cost of LED products as a result of production growth. In Russia, this work is being done on the initiative of individual agencies and organizations. Now on the market of semiconductor lighting is almost no competition among domestic companies with own production of high-brightness LEDs. Serial production of their own crystals for LEDs in Russia on an industrial scale has not yet assured, and Russia's producers, with the exception of ZAO "Svetlana-Optoelectronics" of products by foreign light-emitting crystals. Most crystals on Russia's market is supplied from Taiwan.

Only two companies in Russia have a vast experience and a complete cycle of production, from material to manufacture light-emitting units and light fixtures based on them - is of "Svetlana-Optoelectronics" and JSC "Research Institute of Semiconductor Devices." Companies are trying to cooperate for the successful development of semiconductor lighting industry in Russia and opposition to foreign competitors, including firms such as Cree, Nicha, Sharp, Lumileds.

Nikolai Usov: In the past few years a number of major corporations lighting industry, such as General Electric, Philips, Osram, trying to create a lighting sources based on organic light-emitting diodes - OLED. Compared with conventional semiconductor organic LEDs have several advantages: one can be done uniformly luminous surface of a large area and any shape, in addition to flexible media, they can do with a printer cheap print, including "the reel to reel." Anna Tumanova: In 2008, ZAO "Svetlana-Optoelectronics" are equipped with LED lights several objects RZD: we installed the lighting system platforms, mezhduputy and motor-car depot. LED lamps with a luminous flux of 3000-4000 lm solved the problem of street lighting - the company is equipped with LED lights rail station sorting, Kirishi, Metallostroy, Kandalaksha and platform Elizavetino. We are working on coverage of the territory and premises of PM-10 in Moscow, designed to service the trains "Peregrine Falcon". We plan to install it about 700 luminaries such as TIS-40-BP and 20 luminaries such as TIS-P2. In addition, we develop fixtures for installation on masts POC-30 instead of metal-halogen lamps.
